Katya Sczepanik

Katya Sczepanik received her B.S. degree in Animal Science (minor: Chemistry) from Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU) in Nacogdoches, TX. She later received a M.S. degree from the same place that focused on forage quality/nutrition in beef cattle. She received her D.V.M. degree from Mississippi State University in 2016. Her special interests include beef cattle medicine and surgery and herd health management, but she thoroughly enjoys rural mixed animal practice and working with small animals too. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting (doves and deer), working with livestock/ranching, shooting skeet, playing with her dogs, working out, singing, or visiting with friends and family.
